Nollywood veteran actor, Kenneth Okonkwo has finally reacted to reports which he was disqualified by the Enugu State chapter of Progressive Congress, APC throughout the celebration’s screening practice.

According to the online reports, the Okonkwo was disqualified by the APC because of inability to purchase Nomination form.

But speaking exclusively with The Pulse, Okonkwo denied rumours he had been disqualified from the governorship primaries of this Enugu state All Progressive Congress.

According to him, the allegations that he was disqualified due to his inability to purchase the APC form offered in N22 million is baseless and untrue.

He said:”My attention was attracted to a lot of publications about me because the nomination process of our celebration APC.

“I wish to state categorically they really are a fake news.

“I have not made any announcement or given any interview, political or otherwise, to anybody because the beginning of the nomination process. At the appropriate time, I will make my position known.

“Kindly disregard and discountenance every announcement credited to me as the function of mischief makers. Best regards and God bless,” he disclosed.

The actor wishes to become governor of Enugu. He revealed that he wishes to be the next governor of the country, Enugu in the next governorship elections.
