2019: Peter Obi slams critics associated with PDP’s campaign, speaks on ASUU strike, Buhari’s borrowing plan

Vice presidential applicant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. Peter Obi, has rubbished claims by critics that the party’ s campaign was not working.

He insisted that this kind of claims were part of efforts in order to divert attention from real problems affecting the nation.

Obi, who is an ex-governor of Anambra state, shared his thoughts on the situation yesterday when he featured since guest on Politics Today, the political programme on Channels Tv.

He said: “ The issue in this campaign is about numerous unemployment campaign. We have millions of Nigerians who don’ t know in which the next meal will come from. ”

Citing the continuing ASUU strike, which has grounded educational activities in universities, Obi posted that adequate attention was not getting paid to critical issues in the land.

The Nigerian municipal service is considered bloated and ineffective by many, but Obi is assured that an administration led by your pet and Atiku can turn it close to without much trouble.

“ You can make it work; you can make this to be productive, ” he mentioned of the civil service.

“ There is nothing about being overbloated. Yes, there might be issues but you can make money. You can decide to make every employee, every employee to be productive. ”

He further ruined the Federal Government’ s asking for plan for infrastructure financing.

Obi argued that the amount used on infrastructure did not correspond with the degree of borrowing.
